Beryl amd I have been friends since 1948 (High School). I spent many fun nights at her home and loved her parents. My hisband and I filmed David's wedding and the 80th birthday of Mrs. Derby and her twin, Joe Davies, I had planned to attend the service tomorrow, but the weather forcast calls for flooding from this afternoon until noon tomorrow. May God give you peace through this special time, is my prayer. She loved all of you so much. I will treasure her friendship the rest of my life. Thank you, Tom, for bringing her to see me last July! God bless all of you.

Oh that we had more women and men of God with such obvious character in our nation and world. The Greatest Generation will indeed be missed.

I had first contact with Beryl over 11 years ago through my genealogy hobby. Since then we had exchanged hundreds of emails mainly consisting of items of interest, funny jokes, political satire, etc. I never met her, but she always felt like a good friend. I will truly miss her and will be reminded of her every time I look at my email. My deepest sympathy goes to the family and she will be surely missed, but always remembered. We are blessed by having been touched by Cousin Beryl's kindness, her laugh, and her ability to open her heart & arms to everyone she met. There is another star in the heavens above with her name and smile on it. God bless.

Beryl was like a mother to me, I can't thank the Johnson family enough for taking me in all those years ago. I wouldn't have the loving family I have today without Beryl and Ben Johnson. Good-bye "mom" I love you.

So sorry to hear about your loss. We were class mates at UH. The last time I saw her was at a reunion at Sue Davis' home. Sending deep sympathy to all the family.

Love you for being the special person that you were. Had some great times long ago when the kids were young. Life is just too short. My sympathies to all your family.

Beryl lived next door to my grandmother for many years and I grew up with her kids - Kathy, David and Tom. I was the oldest of 4 and she treated us all like her own kids. For example, she took us to bible camp, brought us to square dancing, and dressed me up in a 50's getup, petticoats and all for some dance. What I liked best was there was always laughter in her home. Beryl was a lovely woman and I will remember her great fondness and love. My prayers are with her family and friends. I encourage you to remember the times she made you laugh or smile. That is the Beryl I remember best.
