Hey Ms. Billie, I am so sorry for your loss. I always thought that Mr. Josh was such a kind, gental and a good man. I know he will be greatly missed by all. I was so happy to see him last year at Tina's funeral. Please take care, Jud Simon ( Byron, Cheryl, & Tims Simon's little brother from Walnut.)

We all have another angel looking over us. I will NEVER forget Mr. Cherry and his genuine interest in my life. After I moved out of the area and would come "home" and go to church I looked forward to seeing the Cherry's. He will be missed. Mrs. Cherry and family you all are in my prayers. Much love! Jerrie

I will never forget the warm smile and easy laugh of Mr. Cherry. I first met him on the third grade camp out for his grandson, J.T. and he treated me like an old friend. I have always been impressed by the dedication of Mr. and Mrs. Cherry to their three grandchildren. They are always there to support the kids, whether it is watching a baseball game, or attending a school event, they are the loving and proud grandparents. I know he will be missed greatlly by his church, friends, and family. My prayers are with you. May you have peace knowing that he is resting in the arms of our Lord. Sheryl Pickering

Mrs. Cherry and Chip, I was thinking of your family only weeks ago, wondering how you all were. How sad it was for me today to see Mr. Cherry's obit in the paper. I can still picture both of you in the halls of NEBC, smiling, offering a hug, and always a kind word to all those "bratty" kids of our youth group. I pray that you will fall in the arms of God and let Him comfort you and carry in your sad days. May God continue to bless you.

I have lived next to Josh for 15 years. I have had many conversations with him over the years and appreciate him being such a good friend and role model. I know that he is in heaven looking down on us and I take comfort in knowing that.

Mrs. Billie, Chip and Family
I am so sorry for your loss; I remember the many wonderful times talking to Mr. Cherry. I remember the time he made some metal device at the shop that allowed us to look at the eclipse safely. Mrs. Cherry I truly believe that if it wasn’t for Mr. Cherry and you I may have never come to know Christ and I thank the Good Lord for allowing me the pleasure of knowing such a man that exemplified what it was to be a man of Christ. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
