Dear Pat, Jake and my dear, dear friend, Antoinette,
There was no one ,who ever graced this earth, that left only good memories behind, as your Mom did. We all loved her along with you. Loved her laugh. Loved her sense of humor. Loved her interest in EVERY generation of us. Loved the smell of freshly baked cakes and cookies every single day, at Sue Lane. You better believe I have her cookbook!! But, most of all, I loved the deep love she had for all of you. She adored her children and grandchildren. And, that love was so unconditionally sweet. I know you all will miss her generous presence. But, you all must be thinking how happy she is to have your Dad, Andrew and all her siblings around her. I just hope God lets her run the kitchen!
I send you all love and my deepest sympathy. I loved your Mom (Grandmother). I look at her legacy, each one of you, and know how terribly proud she is of all of you. And, what a good job she did!! I am blessed to have had Rose Plaia, and the whole Plaia family, in my life. Antoinette, I love you!
Love,
Carol Ann

Rosie was more than a loving friend to me. She was a mentor to me in many many ways. She taught that love of Jesus is essential to the courage, perseverance and charity that she so diligently practiced in her life. She loved her family dearly. She also was extremely caring and generous to her family church friends and all who knew her. Her kindness to all was enormous. She will be missed.

Dear Pat and Lois, Your Mom had to be the perfect mother and grand mother for your brothers, and sister and all of your children and grand children. The Obituray spoke eloquently to her "family values" and especially her love for each of you and her church. May God bless and keep her and all of you who will always remain under her protection with many beautiful memories of how we should each live our lives.

May all of Gramma Rose's family have peace in their hearts knowing what a wonderful, long life she lived. I so enjoyed the visits with my Granddaughter, Annie Miller, Gramma Rose's Great-Granddaughter, at her home in Beaumont. She will be missed....and I think all the angels & saints are REALLY lucky to greet such an amazing woman into paradise.
