Joel & Family,
Words, however kind, can't mend your heartache but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Although I did not know Sue well, I did have the opportunity to work with her during the 2007 Operation Graduation at Lumberton High School. It was such a pleasure. I was honored to teach two of her children (Trevor and Laurie) while at LHS. My prayer for Sue's family and friends is peace and comfort in knowing that she has reached that destiny that we all long for. She will always live through all of you. Much love to you all.

Joel,
Although it has been years, you guys have always held a special place in my heart and life. I didn't know about the cancer and I am so sorry and sad to hear of Sue's passing. I'm excited she got to be a Grandma. She was always such a caring and super special lady. I pray for you and your family and Dank and the McRoberts family that God wraps his loving arms around you and lifts you up especially in the next few days. I sure wish I could blink myself to the funeral home right now. I have and will forever cherish the cross-stitch names she made for all of my children forever and always! Peace to you.

Sue was one of the most precious people that I've ever had the honor of calling friend. Her caring spirit showed in all she did. She told me several times to never ask for patience, pray for grace....well, grace-filled is the way I remember her!
Joel, her children, and all her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

So shocked to hear of Sue's passing. I have not seen
her in about 15 years. I was honored to have known her and the Abbo family. Our boys were in school together when they were young. I instantly remembered three things about Sue. She was a great Mom, a loving wife and you always knew she loved the Lord. What a lady! God bless you Abbo family. Please know you are all in my prayers.

I have fond memories of Sue. We were in the same class throughout grade schools. I always marvelled at her endurance when she ran track or long distance. She was a very sweet person and I will always remember her kindness.
