Mr. Rouse was one of the finest men we've ever had the privilege of knowing. He's been a close family friend to four generations. There aren't words to adequately express what he meant to us. We are truly empathetic for your monumental loss. I am certain he is flying, racing, traveling, and visiting with those friends and loved ones preceding him in Heaven.

I feel your loss. We will always remember those that have gone before us. And know, my arms are around you with a hug so fierce as to remove your pain.

My Sympathy goes out to the Rouse Family. Rickey was such a wonderful Mentor to me when I worked for Mobil Oil. He not only helped me modify/build my Race Bike, but encouraged me to finish College. Rickey was such a wonderful person to have as a Friend and to work with at Mobil. When it came time for me to make decision to leave Mobil and go to work for Honda Rickey was there to help me weigh my options. I will miss him, but he did so much for so many and never ask for anything in return that we know he is in heaven.

My first thought of Mr. Rouse is "what a gentleman". He spoke softly but left a big impact on everyone he met. I will remember him as someone who truly enjoyed every day of life and made the most of it. We will miss you Mr. Rouse.

I am very sorry that I cannot attend Mr. Rouse's funeral. He was such an inspirational man. I remember spending countless hours watching him make the ornamental ironwork and building his airplane. He and Mrs. Rouse were the best and who I wanted to pattern my marriage after. My biggest regret was that I only knew him as a Great Dad and not the person. I still often recall stories about when he was young and handsome and daring. Bobby Katz said that Mr. Rouse was a true Renaissance Man, and I could not agree more. I believe that Mr. Rouse could do anything that he set his mind to and do it better than anyone else. I thank God that Mr. Rouse passed through my life and made such a positive impact.
