Dearest Linda, Chris, and Mrs. Embs, Suzy and my Mom came over today and told Guy and me about your Dad/husband. I just got back into town last night so I had not heard until today. Both Guy and I send angels to wrap love around you and your family. Your father was such a wonderful person. As is your whole family. What an impact in all of your lives with Steven gone and now your Dad. Love you, Kathy Kaluza Morris and Guy Morris and Family

Dear Linda, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet Dad. Reading the obit of his life describes a loving, caring man. I know he must be so proud of all his children and you are a reflection of him. Love to you my friend, Linda

Dear Pat and family, I am saddened to read about your loss of Elmer. I have such fond memories of your family and mine in Beaumont.....weddings, get togethers, parties at the Blantons. Elmer was a wonderful man and the description of him in the Obituary was exactly as I remember Mr. Embs. As you know, Dad also had Alzheimers, so I am aware how hard the last 6 years have been for the family. Warmly, Kathy Blalock Karnes

Pat and All of your wonderful family, Thank you for giving me the blessing to be able to come into your lives and to be of service to Elmer and You. Elmer was a very good man and Pat, you and Elmer were an ideal Catholic Family. Even though my visits were over a short time in your lives, I was Blessed to get to know you better and loved and thanked the Lord for this wonderful blessing.
May His Soul and all the Souls of the faithfully departed, Rest in Peace-AMEN

I never met his family, but I knew Elmer close to 30 years. EEE as we called him was a fine man, intelligent and fair. About 1964, he made great safety changes for Hypalon personnel. He worn a smile, but could things done. Around 1975 I was setting at his desk, a man walk in and said " The reason I sent you home was, I did not know you very well", I ask him to repeat that and he did. I looked at Elmer and he drew a line across a paper on his desk. After the man left, Elmer showed me the line on the paper. To be terminated. Thanks Mr. Elmbs, I retired in 1993. I never forgot what you did for me and my family.
