Dear Russell & David, I hope you remember my family: Dad JD 'Douglas' Hill, wife Johnnie, kids Myra, Jimmy, Dennis & my sis named after your mom Esther! We lived in Woodcrest in about 56 to maybe early 60s. My Dad helped in the search for your Dad & his death always hurt my Dad. Thanks to the internet I found this about your Mom. We are so sorry for all your losses. We've lost Dad, Jimmy & Esther too. My Mom sends her love & bkessings. Hope alls well with you & yours! Myra (Hill) Heinrich ranchmama2003@yahoo.com

So sorry for your loss. She was such a special lady. Always with a smile on her face, so loving, giving, and caring for others. I will hold on to the memories we shared at bingo. May you rest in peace.

I grew up on Washington st. when Mrs. Tegge owned the apartments next door to where I lived. Years later my husband and I bought our home on 4th st. Mrs. Tegge was always very sweet to us. I remember when the pitbull attacked her dog and taking her to the animal hospital. My prayers are with her family. She will be missed

1/16/2012 We have been blessed to have had Esther in our lives !
The video is a beautiful tribute to her. May I share one? Esther and Russell were not home from the hospital when we drove to Taylor to admire our new family member. Nearly always there was an airplane ride when you went to Taylor. Mel and I were up in the yellow piper cub visiting when he looked at me and said, "Esther will be a wonderful mother for our son." She was a good, kind and loving mother to Russ, David, and many of the children at Woodcrest. The poem Hands is very appropriate. Love to each of you, Imogene & Stanley
