Wynne Hickman McNeil

I wish I had gotten to know Wynne McNeil, or MawMaw as we called her, before she really got sick. But, the MawMaw I knew was the sweetest woman you could imagine. She exuded love and care and concern. She made me laugh. She was beautiful. Now, she is at peace with the Lord, and for that I am happy. She has joined her husband and many others who have passed before her. I am sad, but not for her. I am sad because I will miss her. And I am sad because her family is heartbroken at her loss. I am blessed to be part of such a caring, loving family.

I offer my condolences to all of Wynne's family. I went to school with her at David Crockett Jr. High. We were good friends. I visited in their home. She was always a joy to know. She had a great personality. I am sorry that we lost contact after Jr. High. I just saw where Mary Virginia lost her Mother just a week or so ago. She was another one of my Jr. High friends. I know that you are going to miss her so much, but your memories and time will help to make it better.

Wish I could be there with you. I will always remember your mom. She was full of love and kindness. You share such fond memories. May God be with you all.

John and I want to offer our condolences to the family. Wynne was such bubbly person and a joy to be around. I have many fond memories of times spent at your family gatherings. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

If a tiny baby could think, it would be afraid of birth. To leave the only world it had known would seem a kind of death. But immediately after birth, the child finds itself in loving arms, showered with affection and cared for at every moment.
Passing through death is really a birth into a new and better world. Those who are left behind should not grieve as if there were no hope. Life is changed, not taken away. Our dear ones live on, in a world more beautiful beyond anything we can imagine.
There, they wait the day when they will welcome us with joy...

How do you find the words to thank the woman who spent 30plus hours giving birth to you, not to mention teaching you, sacrificing for you, supporting you, and loving you all her life? You love her with all your heart forever! Mama was such a beautiful, loving person in all she did and said and brought so much happiness to us all!
