Sorry to hear about James--he as a great guy -- prayers are with you

My friendship with James and Gay goes back many, many years ago when we were stationed in Gelnhausen, Germany during our military days in 1956-58. We lived in a duplex apartment on German economy and James and Gay lived next door. We have so many memories of great times and both Gay and myself had our first children in Germany. Please know that my heart and caring goes to all of the family during this difficult time. James is at peace with the Lord now. You are in my prayers

Gay, James and Cheri--Your husband's and father's faithful ministry to those who are ill will be missed, as will his presence in church regularly. He has been in an uncomfortable situation for years, and yet your family has been blessed by his great stamina and love. May healing mercies be with you quickly.

Words cannot express how I feel about your loss, and my heart goes out to you and your family. James was much more to all of you, but he was a longtime friend of mine, and I will miss him, too. My deepest condolences.

James was a wonderful and loving family member and we will miss his smiling face and good humor at family gatherings. We know that he is in a better place now and wish his family all the best in this time of sorrow.
