Bertis "Bert" A. Lout

Jean and Carolyn, we are so sorry that you have lost the man you both loved so dearly. I know you have many years of great memories. May the Lord give you comfort and peace through the coming months. We love you, Alix and family

Ms. Jean, We will miss Bert. I can remember a few chats Bert and I had about cattle. I always loved talking...or should I say listening to him. He was a awesome man who is now in a better place.

I'm so glad Bert enjoyed a full life after retirement from Neches Butane. We worked there together for many years long ago. He was 12 years older, but both of us being from Shelby County, we always found something to talk about or someone to remember. He was a good man. In fact, he was quite a gentleman, and I never heard him say anything bad about anyone. My sincere condolences to the family. I know you will miss Bert, but I firmly believe he is in a better place.
