Dear Aline,

I just heard about your mom. I am so sorry and I want you to know I am thinking of you and what you and your family must be going through right now. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you.

I'm glad I had a chance to meet your mother, although we met once. In those conversations I really felt how much she loved you even though she was thousands of miles away. Even though distance kept you apart, you still had a strong relationship.

I am sorry I won't be able to make it to the funeral to convey my condolences in person but when you get back I will give you my hugs.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time.

I was very grateful that I had an opportunity to meet and know Sydna, a mother of a good friend, Aline during her recent stay here in San Diego. Could see her glowing face and her good times when she spent her vacation with Aline and Laura. May she rest in peace eternity and fond memories of her bring her family peace and comfort. Hugs.

I am deeply saddened at the news of Sydna's passing. I have known her since I was a very young girl. Sydna is a inspiration. With her homecoming, I am certain the angels were singing the most wonderful song ever heard. My husband and I will miss her beautiful smile each Sunday.

You will be truely missed Synda... I remember last christmas when we all played white elephant and how you would be so involved in the game. Also I'll miss how every sunday morning you would go out of your way to make me feel welcomed. You would always say good morning to me and ask how I was feeling. You will be truely missed. I love you.

My husband and I were saddened to learn of Sydna's death, however, we know it was a great homegoing for her. She loved her Lord and knew his word. She memorized so many scriptures and knew all the books of the Bible by memory. It gave her great pleasure to tell any one who would listen about the Bible and what it meant to her. We will dearly miss her in our Sunday School class and worship service at the First Baptist Deaf Chapel in Beaumont, TX.

I am blessed to know her. She would gave me small gifts to remind me that God loves me. I marvel at her excellent ability of memorizing the scriptures every Sunday. I am used to seeing her every Sundays, and it won't be same without her. I love you, Synda, and thank you for every small gifts you have given me.
