We extend our deepest sympathy to you in the passing of your beloved son and brother. It's evident from the entries that have been posted that Dean was loved and respected by all. How blessed he was to have been nurtured and loved by such fine Christian parents as you, Mr. John and Mrs. Gladys. May the Lord's grace and precious memories sustain you in the coming days. Love and hugs from across the miles.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dean's family during this difficult time. I have many memories of Dean when we were children growing up in Oklahoma and any family gathering was better when Dean could be there. He will be missed.

John & Gladys - My heart goes out to you both and your family. This was so disheartening and painful. You have so much to be thankful for as all that you did raising Dean showed in his action to his family and to others. Pat yourselves on the back as you did a wonderful job. know you were not ready for him to leave, but God needed him more. It is hard to understand "Why" sometimes, but that is when we have to keep trusting God. I am sure he is in heaven looking down and thanking you and all his family for a wonderful life. It will be a great reunion when we all get to meet him again.

My husband introduced me to Dean over 20 years ago when we were living in Mid-County and did all our banking with him. He was a good friend and really helped with everything when my husband passed. Will always remember him.

To the Family and Friends of Dean: I pray for ease of pain from your grief and peace to rest upon your spirits as you grieve the loss of your family member, friend, and Brother in Christ. My association with Dean was brief, but it was very apparent that he had a kind and benevolent soul. Dean, Rest in Peace.

I met Dean at the benefit in 2010 after the loss of my best friend and soul mate to cancer. Dean was at work in the kitchen helping with the dispensing of food at the Elks Club. He was beautiful inside and out. His attitude really impressed me. He talked to my two shy Grand Daughters who had just lost their " Papa Tim" and knew just what to say. I was truly blessed to have known him if only for a brief time. The people you meet and interact with leave footprints on your heart. Some wear cleats while some flit across your heart on soft lasting steps as light and soft as the wings of an angel. Thank you Dean for your angel steps. You will always remain a beautiful memory in my heart.

Dean has always been a good friend to me and my family. He has one of the biggest hearts that I ever met . Through the Elks and Y.M.B.L I have seen Dean give so much of his life for a greater good . My Brother, I will miss you greatly.
