Buck will truly be missed. He always had a smile on his face no matter what was going wrong in his life. I know that in Heaven he has got all of George Jones fans gathered around, listening to the best of George Jones and of course have to throw a little Benny Barnes in there. I will truly miss my friend.

The stories whether true or fiction have indured time and will always be talked about for ages. Your girls will miss you as many others. Happy trails Cowboy!!!

Fond memories with Buck. We were cooking for the Llano Crawfish Opening. Buck came in with a large bag of dry beans. He deposited them in mine and Bill Bailey's motel bath tub and covered them with very hot water. When we returned to our room to go to bed the beans had soured and so had our room. Needless to say we could not sleep in that room and we specialized in "canned beans" from then on. I miss him already!
