Arnold "Mitch" Mitchell

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet person and I remembered him from when I was a little girl. He painted my daddy's first house that he built in the McCall Addition.

I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE BEEN BORN YOUR OLDEST DAUGHTER. WE HAD SUCH A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP. WE WERE NOT ONLY FATHER AND DAUGHTER, BUT BEST FRIENDS AND CONFIDANTS. IT WAS SUCH AN HONOR AND PRIVILEDGE TO HAVE BEEN WITH YOU DURING YOUR LAST HOURS AND TO HAVE YOU TELL ME BYE AND THAT WE LOVED EACH OTHER. YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MY HERO. I HAVE ALWAYS SWEALED WITH PRIDE BECAUSE IN MY HEART OF HEARTS YOU WERE THE PERFECT MAN. I HAVE NEVER MET ANOTHER MAN IN THIS EARTHLY WORLD THAT WAS AS MUCH A MAN AS YOU WERE. THERE WAS NEVER A TIME IN MY 62 YEARS THAT YOU AND MY WONDERFUL MOTHER WERE NOT AT MY SIDE NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES. YOUR LOVE WAS UNCONDITIONAL. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU AGAIN AND I KNOW I WILL. I KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE KING OF KINGS. THE LORD SAID THAT HE MADE MAN IN HIS LIKENESS AND YOU WERE LIVING PROOF OF THAT. I HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY GOD IN THE GREATEST IN THAT HE CHOSE YOU TO BE MY EARTHLY FATHER. I WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS AND MISS YOU MORE THAN MY HEART CAN STAND. Uncle Arnold was a great inspiration to me and my brother. We had many wonderful times through the years. Full of life and always a pleasure to be around, I especially enjoyed the last few times together when we just sat and talked about things. I remember a phrase that PawPaw used about someone he greatly respected and I think it fits uncle Arnold to a tee. He was "Much a Man". Donna and I will keep everyone in our prayers. May God continue to bless your wonderful family. I look forward to the day when we all will be re-united with all those who have gone before us.

I am so sorry for your loss. You can tell alot about a person's life by looking through pictures. The photos in the video definitely conveyed a man who loved his family and a family that definitely loved their Pop. May each of you hold your memories close to your heart and may God grant you comfort and peace in the days ahead.
