Dear Georgia and Family,
I just learned of Lloyd's passing away today, from Wayne. He told me about this memorial. I am so sorry that he was ill and I know you all will miss him very much. I know he is with his Savior and visiting with all his old friends and family. Especially his in-laws, Grandma and Grandpa Cole. Probably even saying "hi" to my Mom and Dad. Your Friend, Gay Collins Dawson

I'm so sorry to learn of your loss. I have many fond memories of Shorty playing bluegrass music with Paw Paw. I know there must be quite a jam session going on in Heaven now with the two of them & John B. My thoughts & prayers are with you all.

My sympathies go out to his family. He will be missed. When I think of Lloyd, I am reminded of what someone once said of Tom Landry...." He always did the right thing even when no one was looking "
