Edwin "Big Ed" Worthy, Jr.

Mary all that can be said is that he was one hell of a man and we wil all miss him.

My deepest sorry for the loss of a great man, my thoughts and prayers go out to the Family . Edwin will be missed by us all .

So very sorry to hear about Uncle Edwin. We have said many prayers for your entire family and will continue to pray for you all. It is so very hard to lose a parent. Troy has told many stories that include Uncle Edwin and Keith, he has such wonderful memories of his Uncle. This time is so hard, but after losing my Dad six months ago I have learned to be comforted in the thought that my Dad is now always with me -- my very own angel.

Mary, I am so sorry for your loss of Edwin. Mr. Worthy has always been a man I respected becuase of his strong family values, his faith in God and his outstanding charater. Traits he passed on to your sons and grandchildren. My prayers will be with you at this time and in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am at a loss for words. I cannot express my sorrow to the family for loosing such a wonderful man. I have worked for Ed and have known him for many years and he was a great man. I know he loved his Family very much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers! Such a tragic loss.

Reading the kind, heartfelt messages from those who knew and respected Edwin during past decades, I'm not surprised. I knew him as a friend when he was a couple of years younger in school long ago and can attest to the fact Edwin was a fine young man. Later, I worked with his dad at Neches Butane for many years, and when I would ask about Edwin, it was easy to see that Ed Sr. was very proud of his son's accomplishments. My deepest condolences to the family.
