To the Martin Family, Even though you know your dad has gone to a better place, the pain and emptiness remains in your hearts. I pray that with time friends and family and fond memories will help you heal.

Ann, I am saddened to hear of the loss of your daddy. I'm sure he is sitting at the hand of God right now, as you told me of the wonderful example he was to you throughout your life, especially when things got tough....and how he never held a grudge against anyone. You always felt blessed to be his daughter. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know you all will carry on his legacy.

To the family of R.G. Martin: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bro. R.G. He was a very kind man with such a gentle spirit, an active member of my church where I grew up, an old friend of our family and a co-worker with my daddy at Union Oil. I can always remember him and Ms. Hattie smiling when I sang in church. I haven't seen all of you in so many years but my memories of Bro. R.G., Ms. Hattie, Ann, Charlotte, Alton and Robert still bring a smile as I think of growing up around your sweet family. Charlotte, Dianne (Murff) McCandless and I were "Ms. Fox's girls" so we were close in age and closer to each other. Ms. Fox just entered Heaven's gates too and I feel that Bro. R.G. will be rejoicing with so many loved ones and dear old friendsl...my momma and daddy included! Angels are singing! May God bless the Martin family and hold each one of you in His loving arms during this time. My love and prayers, ~Mary Lurlene (DuBose) McKinzie

I am so sorry for your loss. He was very sweet to all of us kids when we were running around your house probably making way too much noise.
