While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant and well-loved young woman, the heavens are singing with joy for her arrival. It is always hard to write words of condolences when a young mother has been taken from her family, but God always knows best. We know Amy better than we knew Carrie because of her involvement in our Youth Group, but we worshiped for several years with the Budd Family and know how close-knit and loving they are.We know they'll be there for Jonathan and the children. Love to all the family.

Carrie was one of the sweetest, most genuine, and funniest people I've ever known. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room, even way back at Marshall Junior High when I was a new kid in school. Whether engaging in casual conversation, good natured football smack talk (she loved her Longhorns and let me know it these past few years when they played my Red Raiders), or fighting the battle of her life she always did it with grace, humor, and class.
Thoughts and prayers to all of Carrie's family.

I am so grateful to have known such a wonderful woman since grade school. I feel extremely blessed that I was able to reconnect with Carrie two years ago and we could pick up where we left off. To Carrie, NO one was a stranger, she could make anyone feel like they had always been a friend. My thoughts and prayers go to her family at this time. Please know that not many people make a difference in others lives, but Carrie has made a difference in so many. Her strength, love and courage will forever give me faith. Sincerely, Rosalinda

I was inspired by Carrie's courage and I pray God will help your family in your loss. I know how difficult time will have comfort for all if you keep God in your life. I lost my husband two weeks ago but there will be happy memories for all of you until we meet our loved one again. I will be praying for all of you.
