Uncle Jackie has been a large part of my life for as long as I can remember. When my own father died he stepped into the father figure role not because it was his brothers son but because he wanted to. He guided me, counciled, me and scolded me when I needed it. But he always did it out of love. I am a better man today for the impressions he made on me as a child. I will always carry him in my heart. Every time I hear a train whistle I will know he is picking up another angel for heaven.

Laurette and families, I met Jackie in the 70's in Lufkin at Sun and Pines Restuarant. We started talking and found out we both went to South Park.Thru the years we have kept in contact. I am deeply saddened of his death.A true GREENIE he is. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your families
