Clayton was a faithful and dedicated member of NEBC, and the church was blessed to have him in positions of leadership. He was a good example of what a Christian should be. We were fortunate to have known and worked with him at NEBC.

My Pawpaw the greatest, strongest, kindest, sweetest, most loving and giving man I have ever known. His passing has left such a whole in my heart that can only be comforted by the knowledge of Christ that he shared with me and everyone that knew him. He shared this knowledge not only through his words but by his very life. He set such an excellent example for other men on how to be a tireless servant for the Lord.

Many of my memories are of him working in his yard at home or in the country, fixing something, re-purposing something else to work better but always going and giving of himself. He had so many wonderful stories that he loved to share. I loved to listen to his stories about his childhood , his many years at work, and family vacations.

As the church fills with people Monday that come to mourn such a great loss and celebrate such a great life I know that they will be the tiniest fraction of people's lives he has touched in all of his years. He was saved as a young boy and remained a faithful servant until he went to be with our Lord at 87 years old. I want to send praises to Jesus that you are in heaven with Granny. I love you Pawpaw and I will see you later.

My best memory of my PawPaw is when I was a really little girl waking up to the smell of his wonderful pancakes. How he made them so great was always a mystery to me, but I am truly greatful to him for waking up early to make us those delicious pancakes.
I love you PawPaw!

People usually complain about their in-laws because most in-laws are notoriously intrusive. Not me, I can't complain because I was blessed with the best in-laws ever.

Clayton & Trudie welcomed me into their family when I married their youngest son in 1989 & I am eternally grateful for their love & encouragement over the years. Clayton was a Godly man who was an example of a loving husband & father for my husband to see as he grew up. I am thankful that Curtis was raised in a Christian home & had a father who continuously demonstrated love for his wife & children through his sacrificial leadership.

I have a wonderful husband & our daughters have a loving father because of Clayton Weeks - a great father & the best father-in-law ever.

One of my favorite memories of my PawPaw is how we loved to swing on his many different hammocks over the years and how we spent so much time in his backyard. He would push me for hours and I cherished every moment. I loved to help him change the bird feeders and carry the seed from his shed and the noise it made when it was poured. I will always remember the smell of that shed and all the tools and feed he kept in there. He was so clever thinking of inovative ways to keep the squirrels off the feeders and I laughed every time the squirrels would get stumped and give up. We did so much yard work together over the years and most of the time it was hard to keep up with him! I have full confidence today that he is helping the gardeners in Heaven with the weeding and warding off of those pesky squirrels.
I love you PawPaw

Clayton was a great and godly man. He was always pleasant and willing to give of himself. He was the first person you would greet at North End every Sunday, and the last one who would greet you. It was an honor to have known him for the past 51 years. I am gong to miss him so much. I am praying for the family as you grieve his death. He will always be near and dear to my heart.

May God bless this family in their time of grief,
