Today is a day for celebrating life,
and a day for grieving the past
Sorrow and pain are beyond us now,
we fought to see that they didn't last
We all have different journeys,
different choices we have to make
We can choose to live for love,
or choose to hide behind fear and hate
Death is a door to which you cannot hide,
all is revealed about our past lives
If the soul was good and happy and just,
then our memories will be as such
Life is an adventure and teaches us all,
things we need to know to help us move on.

Rest in Peace

I am so sorry to hear about BrotherJonte. What a wonderful man. I told someone that I can still close my eyes and hear that wonderful laugh. My prayers are with all of you. He was truly loved.

My love and deepest sympathy to each of you. May God comfort you, give you strength, and sustain you all the days ahead. Oh the memories I will have all the rest of my life of this wonderful Godly man, his laugh, his genuineness,a faithful servant, and so many other admirable qualities. He always has had a special place in my heart and life. Heaven has gained a jewel. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gene was an inspiration to us. We saw him daily on his way to church or to help someone in need. We saw how dearly he was loved by his daughter and son-in-law as we are their neighbors. He was a man to be admired and respected. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all his family and friends as his passing is a great loss to many. Our prayers are with you.

There's a brighter star in heaven now. We'll all miss Rev. Jonte'. One of my fondest memories was when he played the role of Moses during VBS a few years ago. He enjoyed that so much.

Vicki, Gaye, Kaye and Randy....One more of the "Special" people in my life has passed. Your dad was a man that I was glad to call my friend. He always had a smile on his face, was compassionate, caring and loving. Our God has two great "assistants" with him....your dad and Rev R.E. Barclay, two of the GREATS from Silsbee. He will be missed by many.
