My sympathy to the family. Mrs. Sherman was my second grade teachers in 1954.

I have known Mrs. Sherman all my life and she was one of my Aunt Lucile Bogan's good friends. What a long and faithful life and now she is with those she loved.

Some of my fondest memories growing up are of going to your house and playing with all of the dolls. You were always such a loving, kind, and welcoming person. You will be missed greatly!

Aunt Charline was such a loving person. The memories are priceless. The warm openness of her home, the Avon bottles, antiques, the BOOKS I loved to pore over. Always a smile on her face. And now she is reunited with her husband Lloyd and all of her sisters & brother! What a homecoming they are having in heaven! All of the Conklin family have given me such wonderful memories.

To: Harry and Myrtle-to whom I knew a long time ago. There is little I can do or say right now but please know that my heart and thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow. I did not know your Aunt but have heard that she was a fine lady.

Oh how I remember going out to Aunt Charline and Uncle Lloyd's after church and Carnation Ice Cream. We loved all of her baked goods and playing on the propane tank (leaving with a silver color on our clothes). Picking pears and satsuma and figs and any other fruit trees they had growing at the time. Visiting the oversized armoire for gifts each time we visited. Eating thanksgiving dinner with too much food and pies and sweets. And, I can't forget about the times she helped me out in bad times, going to Austin for a seminar with my boss, John Bell, hiding me out at times along with other family in China. She will be so missed. Such an awesome person.

Charline is remembered as a loving great aunt. I have great memories visiting Charline and Lloyd at their Sour Lake home. My mother, Virginia always spoke highly of Charline. May God be with her!

I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Sherman's passing...the world lost a very kind and special person. May God bless you and your family during this time.
