I love you Dad, and I miss you so much. Thanks for all of our "talks" and the advise a loving father gives his forever inquisitive daughter.

So sorry for your loss, only met Larrie when I was a little girl, but know he must have been a wonderful man as His mom my Aunt Hope was a beautiful person. Yesterday I said, see you another day to my old friend Larrie. I've been thinking about the 40 year friendship we shared for weeks now. Watching our our kids grow into find adults. Then the grandchildren coming into our lives, the good times at home and a lot at the lake, so many good memories. You knew before you left us Boyd and I will always be there for your family. Your battle on this old earth is over. Rest in peace. As the grandchildren would say....Your dear BFF...Liz

Dearest Larrie, you are my hero. You are a hero to all of us for different reasons. For me, it is because for so many years you served our country and our community, protecting us from harm. Most of all, you are my hero because you are the dad of my most wonderful and dear friend Michelle. She is a fine woman who is loyal and kind and giving. She is a devoted, loving mother who has done an amazing job bringing up sweet Cameron. Michelle is smart, caring and beautiful and I have been truly blessed to have her in my life. A true friend. A woman of inspiring strength. As you know, dear Larrie, we never met, but I know the kind of genuine man and father you are because of Michelle and the amazing woman she is. Many parents are unable to teach—or aren’t effective in leading by example—the inherent qualities of being a good person that you and Denyce have instilled in Michelle. We are sad it is time for you to leave us in the physical sense. But it is comforting to know that your spirit and all the best parts of you live on through Michelle and your family and all of the people whose lives you touched. Thank you, dear Larrie. You are my hero.
