What a precious & gracious lady! Nell showed me & everyone she came in contact with how to live & love well. I have prayed long & often that Nell would be healed & free from pain. God gave her the ultimate healing Monday morning. May God bless Doug & each of the family with comfort & sustain you with His peace during this sad time.

Doug and Dianna, My heart aches for you in the loss of your mother. I only met her one time at a ladies meeting at our church, but I was so impressed with her sweet smile and love for our Lord. You are fortunate to have had her in your life. God bless you. Willie Mae Bryant Smith

Momma, Thank you for your love through the years. You displayed so much love for your family and the Lord and it truly showed. I have such sweet memories of you that I will treasure forever. I remember the day that we were told you had pancreatic cancer, and how shocked we were. But, like always we pulled together as a family and supported you. I feel so bleesed to have been by your side through your journey and I wouldn't of had it any other way. God, my loving husband, and my job allowed me to be with you every step of the way. It wasn't an easy road to go down but on your good days we enjoyed some sweet talks and made more memories that will be stored forever in my mind. Momma, you were full of grace and poise. You always loved and saw the good in everyone. You were so beautiful inside and out. You were so precious to me and everyone you met. I'm so thankful and blessed that God chose you to be my Momma. He sure knew what he was doing when he gave me you. I prayed for you daily during your illness and asked God to heal you. God had a different plan and I'm reminded that his ways are good and he has the master plan. He needs you more in heaven than here on earth. I'm going to miss you like crazy. I hope that we made you proud by being by your side every step of the way of this journey. We've laughed and cried and God saw it all. He gave us this time to be with you and share each other together. I know that Heaven is rejoicing because they have you. I rest in knowing that I will see you again real soon. You left your earthly home to go to your heavenly home and what a glorious day that was! Momma, no more pain, no more suffering, no more pills, and no more chemo. I know that you have a new body and that you are rejoicing with all your loved ones that have gone before you. I thank you for such a wonderful life that you gave me. I will forever be grateful. Your loving daughter, Lisa
