Rest easy, soldier... your tour is over, and your country thanks you with bowed head and bended knee for your sacrifice. May g-d's loving presence sustain your loved ones, and may the peace that surpasses all understanding be visited upon them, until you meet again.

Dear Tommye and family,
There are no words to express to you and your family on how sorry I am to hear of your loss of your HERO. May God grant you comfort and strength to get through the days ahead. As a former Marine Sergeant, and the mother of a Marine Corporal son who served three tours in Iraq, and for my youngest son who served in the Army my military family wish to express our heart felt prayers to your family. David served to protect us all and died a hero. I will pray that you find peace and comfort in this prayer said over so many combat fallen for so many years. God Bless You. My prayers go out to you, the family of an American HERO, in this time of your loss. May God sustain you and help you to understand why. I do not know you and you do not know me but being retired military and a veteran, I can know of your pain. May God be with your family at this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of mourning and loss. Our words cannot convey the deep sorrow we feel at the loss of your soldier. He is a beloved hero of this nation, and you have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We pray that God is with you in the time of sorrow.

I am so sorry for the loss you are experiencing. Words can't convey my sorrow. I currently have a son serving in Afghanistan so as a mother I know the pride you felt in your son serving our country. Psalm 138:3" In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul." This verse was a great comfort to me when I experienced grief. Prayers and hugs from all us Army Moms.
