Mary, I don't remember you, but your mom (my cousin Maurine) go way back in my memories during the 50's. My Mother was Doris Maxine West, her mother was Gladys Ophelia Keith. Mary, I was so sorry to read of your mom's passing. I had the opportunity to work with your mom and know your dad also while we worked together at Ideco many years ago. She helped give my bridal shower for me. She was a very dear friend to me. I am sorry to say I hadn't seen or talked to her in a very long time. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your entire family.

I was lucky to have had Aunt Maurine as my Godmother. She and Uncle Gordon have had a lasting effect on my life and she will be sorely missed.

Maurine, we will miss you deeply at our Wednesday night table at the restaurant. It won't be the same not hearing that horn honk on Defee Street on Wednesday afternoons. We are so glad you became our friend! Mary and Maria, we are thinking of you and have you in our prayers.
