John, Donnie, Sherry and Families, Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow as I know just how hard it is to lose a parent. I will truely miss Merida and will always remember her with the beauty and kindness she always represented to me. From experience...Know that she will always be with you! Hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your friends for strength, and always remember how much you are cared about As she rests in Peace now, may your memories give you strength. My love to you all. Sandi

Growing up, Merida was always like a second mom to me. I can't remember a moment when I was around her that she didn't have a glowing smile and radiate love. My prayers are with you during this time. She was a lovely lady and her love lives on through her children and those who knew her.

I want to pass on my heartfelt sympathy to the family. Although I never knew Merida, I know that it is very painful to lose someone and for that reason I want to share a word of comfort. Psalms 56:8 says that God see all the pain we feel and he collects all our tears and perserves them in his bottle and records everyone in his book. May these words bring you comfort during this difficult time.

Ahhh.... Merida Lynne, mother of 2 silly boys, and one pretty but brittle lil girl. I remember riding in the very back of her station wagon in the mid '70s while she and her mom drove us crazy kids around Beaumont. Our great Halloweens... and many nights at Speedway 90.
I have been blessed to have spent the last 6 years visiting her and keeping her yard cut...she lived next door to my grandmother, who always considered Merida... as one of her daughters...
She will be missed... but I am happy her pain and suffering is over.

Goodbye my Sweet Cousin...Hope you and your Mom are having a good time right now. I miss you and will always miss you. We had some good times and some bad times, but you know and I know the good times were a lot more plentiful. I will never forget you panomining Johnny Otis's Crazy Country Hop... your Mom and Dad and I would laugh so hard every time you played it for us. You were so much fun when we were young.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have not seen Merida in a few years, but she had been a good friend. She was a sweet person.

May you rest in peace my dear, sweet, beautiful Merida. You meant so much more to me than just being my son's mother-in-law. The good times we shared as friends through the years will remain in my heart forever. I will miss you each and every day. Love,
