Our hearts and prayers are with you. Alvin was a unique and wonderful person. We count ourselves fortunate to have been a recipient of his friendship, generosity and humorous nature. We have so many fond memories and will miss him very much. May God bless you with His peace and comfort.

I remember Alvin from the old days of SWBell, he and my Daddy were co-workers and good friends. My memory of him is always having a smile and picking on us kids. No doubt there are tales being told and laughs being heard in heaven today. You have my deepest sympathy.

Alvin was a great man and friend to my late husband..He gave my sons the first 2 pigs they ever had..Boy did we have fun with them in my bathtub for a few days..Alvin enjoyed hearing about those adventures so long again..He will be missed....The Swearingen Family

He was a wonderful funny man and will be missed. He was really a nice nice man. He was a blessing for what time I knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
