I am extremely proud to say Toni has been my friend for over thirty years. I had been at the UA-RREC a couple of years when rice blast raised its' ugly head and smote AR rice production full force. Toni stepped in and taught me all he knew about the disease, how to research the disease and made his expertise available in control efforts.
Toni was a great person - always ready with a laugh and a true pleasure to be around. His day was made if he could pull a joke on someone or tell a funny story.
He is missed.

The Heavenly Chorus is rejoicing for the addition of Toni's sweet voice. But off to the side, he has gathered three other guys and they hear... "I found a horseshoe".....
We will miss you, old friend. I will miss you!

Dear Family, I have known Tony for about 20 years. When I first started work at the station Tony reached out to me and made my transition so much easier than it might have been. I can still him sitting in my office across from me in a green chair. We would talk about what mattered in life to us; nature, family, etc. We disagreed on many things - specially politics! While we disagreed we were never disagreeable. In fact, I think we both enjoyed knowing how different we were but yet we loved each other. Tony was such a lovely friend and it was a gift for me to have him in my life.
