Nona Faye was a great and fun friend throughout high school and exemplified every good thing the Class of '56 stood for during those now-nostalgic years.
Melvin, from the day I went to work at NBP in 1957, you were a friend too, and my deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.

To my dearest and most precious friend...Our frienhdship began at Nederland Elm.School in the second grade through our graduation and Good Ole Nederland High School. There are so many memories from school and the band that I will never forget. Even though we didn't stay in touch after we started our own families and We moved to Louisiana...I never stopped thinking about you and the great times we had. you and your family will always be a special part of my life. Melvin, She loved you more than anything in this world and Debra and Darlene were her dream come true. We shared our dreams often and she always said she wanted two girls and were going to name them Debra and Darlene. She was my best friend and I will always cherish the memories we shared for so many years. Melvin and girls...you are so blessed to have had her for your wife and mother. I love you all and hope to see you soon. Love Wilma
