Mr and Mrs Lutz and Byron, So sorry to here about the passing of Michael. I have some very fond memories of our childhood as neighbors to each other in 1965-66. Speciial memories as Cub Scouts, Mrs. Rice, and Mrs Steely. I am very fond of the all the days we spent in the woods, feeding all of the animals that were raised in the 4H club. I will truly miss his kind heart and his special ways. Had not seen him in a while, but Byron always told me how he was doing. I know he is sitting on the right side of our Christ Jesus. My family will keep all of you in our prayers.

It's been said that a man's greatest contributions are the ones he leaves behind. If that's true, then Mike was the most successful man who ever lived. His wife Terrie loved him dearly and completely. He raised four children who would have done anything for him; and he had friends who loved him more than some families love each other. His smile, his wit and his never ending generosity will be missed by all.

Sharon, I was so sorry to hear of Mike's death. All sons are special to their mothers but your own is unique. You'll miss him terribly, but he definitely IS in a better place. I hope you take comfort in knowing he was loved by so many.

There are so many precious memories left behind and I hope and pray that as the days go by, you will all find peace and comfort in knowing that Mike is totally pain free and in a much better place.

Terrie: You are the best thing that has happened to Mike right up there with the birth of his children and grand children. I just wish you two could have had more time together. YOU FULFILLED HIM AND PUT THAT SMILE BACK ON HIS FACE!

Byron: I wish I could ease your pain over the loss of your father, your best friend. He was so proud of you. He bragged on you so much, even when his golf ball was accused of causing your first accident. lol He has been sick so much of your life and you have endured more than any child should ever have to.

Nick: He was the worlds greatest step father and “He didn’t have to be”! You two have been so close throughout the years that you look alike, you even have his mannerisms. He was so proud to call you his son.

Recently Mike made two comments to me “Life is too short to have animosity” and “I think you can help Terrie understand”. I was not sure at the time what he meant, but now it all makes sense.

RIP Mike, until we meet again...............................

I will always remember Mike's extraordinary sense of humor. He also never let on that he was hurting or in pain all those years ago when Roger and I would go over to his house to help him with an IV, meds or whatever. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. To be around Mike meant that you would be laughing sooner or later. He was a good friend to the both of us and he will truly be missed.
