You are all in my thoughts & prayers.I pray God gives you the strength to get through this & wraps his loving arms around you so tight that all you feel is his love. I know you mom was there welcoming him home, What a happy reunion.

Homer was a gentleman in every sense of the word and one of the finest, kindest, most sincere individuals I ever met. This was in 1957 when I went to work at Neches Butane. He had an innate intelligence, a keen sense of humor, and everyone considered him a friend. I was saddened to learn of his demise, and my deepest sympathies go out to the family.

I had the opportunity to get to know Homer during my time as a reporter for the Port Arthur News. He was an intelligent, kind, honorable man with a good heart. Nederland forever bears the fingerprints of his touch. He will be missed. May God be with you in your time of loss.

Jody, my deepest condolences on the loss of your dad. I very much enjoyed meeting and speaking with him at your home a few years back.
