Casi was not only my aunt she was a 2nd mother and one of my best friends. 10 years ago I made a difficult decision to move 300 miles away from my parents and sisters to go to college. It ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made. Casi and Kenneth were gracious enough to take me into their home and let me live with them for 2 years while I went through my EMT/Firefighting school. In those 2 years mine and Casis relationship grew closer. We cooked together, shopped together, watched movies together, and just had fun. I can never thank her and Kenneth enough for supporting me the way they did. My heart is aching for her but I know she will be watching over me and protecting me on every call I make. It's comforting to know I have such a wonderful guardian angel watching over me. I love her so very much and miss her every day. Rest in peace now Aunt Casi. I will see you again one day. I Love You!!!

Cassie was a lovely person. I remember her as a wonderful homeroom chairman at Bingman Elementary School in Beaumont. She was dedicated to her family. Tammy, know that I love you and will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Casi was so highly thought of and such a caring and gracious person. She was such a trooper and so courageous throughout her last year. As time passes, do hope the families' wonderful memories of Casi will help soften their grief. Praying that Casi's family will find peace in days ahead. .
