Nanay Mesyang is finally home! There is no better place than where she is right now. Although we will definitely miss her, it is very comforting to know that she in peace. I remember back in June when Pressy, Jamey and Tessa were visiting, in one of our gatherings, she told me "I AM READY. I AM JUST WAITING". Our deepest condolences to the Itchon families and extended families she left behind.

I will miss you, Lola Itchon! You were one of my Lola's best friends, and I know you two are dancing and laughing together again now. I hope I am blessed to live a long, healthy and happy long life like you did.
Blessings and prayers to Tita Wilma, Tito Mel, Penny & Michelle. I'm so glad you're all a part of my life, and I hope you are feeling the comfort of God's love at this trying time. Lola Itchon was a wonderful lady and I will miss her a lot!! Love you all!

On behalf of the ceramic class of the Best Years Senior Center: Mrs Itchon (Neme) will be sorely missed! She has the most beautiful spirit and was a true blessing at the center and so was her family! Neme, at 90 years of age, exercised in low impact aerobics, also yoga and was a very talented artist in our ceramic class. She painted hundred of pieces. My personal favorite was a mini life size horse - 2 ft x 2 ft or larger. We carried that horse from a Houston Ceramic Show back to Beaumont; she was so excited to surprise her daughter with a painted horse. Each year for Neme's Birthday her family would bring in a large, lovely cake so we could all celebrate with her. Neme was a role model on how everyone should take care of their physical body and give kindness to others. We are so grateful to have her friendship for many, many years and thankful to her family for sharing her. With love to all the family members, Lynn Huckaby, Program Coordinator BEST YEARS SENIOR CENTER City of Beaumont Parks and Recreation Department

Dear Nanay Mesiang,
It was wonderful to see you during my visit in June. We sat together looking at the wedding album of Kuya Alex and Ate Jul and you were beaming with pride viewing your younger years while we laughed at old pictures. I will hold on to that thought, until we meet again. Rest in peace now.
