Dear Ivy, James was always so very sweet and kind. I think back to when you would both come to the bowling lanes for the morning ladies league. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time.

I lived next door to the Cluelows on Fourth Avenue in Coraopolis. There were 5 of us (3 now). We always thought Garland a wonderful young man, pleasant and friendly. I especially remember how a much older boy was always willing to play ball with a small kid. He could really handle a baseball. And I remember when he left for the service. Great sadness among us all. We never saw him again. But sounds like a good and rewarding life. Very happy for him.

Gar, we will miss you dearly. Watching you hang your clothes on the line and doing your chores in the back yard was so sweet. Love, Michelle & Darrel

Jim was a true friend and Optimist. Believe me I have known thousands of Optimists and none of them would compare to Jim. He practiced the tenets of the Optimist creed every day. He was a great benefit to his club, the Southeast Texas District and Optimist International. On behalf of myself, my wife Marvel, my children, the Southeast District and Optimist International I offer condolences to his wife Ivy, his sons and their families. May GOD's blessings be with all of you.
