My Friend, Your Christlike spirit touched everyone at West Brook as you walked our halls daily. The wonderful stories and the "Blessing" written on the chalkboards will always be treasured. You allowed us to feel a part of your family, and anyone who knew you knew the great love and honor your had for your family. Your beloved Sylvia and the proud daddy that you were for your children is an inspiration to us all. Students and staff alike were blessed to know you and listen to your positive comments about life, love, education and especially God. Your strong faith in humanity, and peace of eternal salvation lets me know that the angels rejoiced as you joined them in song. I look forward to spending endless time with you in the future, as we praise and honor Him together. Today, I humbly miss you dearly and pray for strengh for your loved ones and the students who you taught to be gracious, loving adults.

Mr. O'Brien you were the BEST teacher a student could have, and I know you loved your job very much and treasured all the time you spent with all of the students you came in contact with. I know that your up in heaven looking down upon your loved ones and family member. I know that your in no more pain and no suffering anymore. I know you're in heaven now. Tell Ashley and Alicia I said hi. i know there going to be excited to see you. Dance a lot and laugh because I know I will be, I'll be celebrating your life! Mourning it wouldn't be right. R.I.P. Mr.O'brien <3 forever and always you will be in my heart and I'll tell my children about you <3

Dear O'Brien family,
Jim means so much to our family and he will forever be in our hearts. Hal and I both had the pleasure of working with Jim. Hal worked with him at Beaumont Motor Co. and I met him while substituting at West Brook. Fortunately, Jim taught our three children many life lessons. We will always remember his smile, happy disposition, kind heart, and his love for God and family. May you all be comforted by the happy memories you are left to cherish. Many prayers to you all! Hal, Jackie, Troy, Hal, and Erin Burke Newton
