Carl James Andrepont

My deepest sympathies to all who will feel the loss of the presence of Carl Andrepont. So much could be said about this man that it would require writing a book to get it said. A condensed version might start out with "He was an inspiration as a man, a husband, a father, a relative, an in-law, a businessman, a veteran, and a friend!" He lived with a couragious, yet humble attitude toward life. He gave as much as he took from life and from others. He was a respector of all persons, yet defended his beliefs with dignity. He laughed and he cried with me. Carl is a man for whom I had respect and admiration and I will surely miss him when I go to Port Arthur. To Alice and all the "Powers" family....love you! May God Be With You 'Till We Meet Again. Carl, May the Perpetual Light Shine Upon You.

Many, many years ago as a young girl out of college and in my first job, I met Carl at the Paragon Drive-In in Port Arthur. He was older than me or my friends but always a gentleman. He was a like a "big brother" and we shared a lot of good times. My prayers go out to his family.

Mr. Andrepont was an awesome person... I would go by his shop to show him my "latest" project... He would come out there on his HOT WHEELS and see what I had... Only condition was I had to "light up the tires" for him when I left...Mighty fine man.. Will miss him.

Carl, years ago I flew weedhoppers with you at Pleasure Island. Only fond memories of you, Doc, Ron, Ory, Butch, Dale,and Steve out at Pleasure Island. Keep the wind to your back, and comfort to your family. God Bless.

We loved him and we will miss him dearly. Psalm 30:5 tells us: Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. And as Psalm 73:26 reminds: As our flesh and our heart may fail, God is the strength of our heart and our portion forever...and ever...Thank You Lord God Almighty... Amen

I am so sad to hear about Carl passing. My deepest sympathy go out to his loving family and may God comfort you at this time. I thought the world of him and he will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Carl's passing our prayers and deepest sympathy are with his family. We knew Carl both as a friend and also as a business associate. No matter how bad something looked he always had a smile and seemed to have an answer for each problem. One never tired of hearing his stories, and he had quite a few. We will miss him greatly.
