It's been some time since we lost Ron and it is true time does heals some pain. But to lose someone like Ron and what he stood for, the soul never fully heals. Ron was a person in our lives that stood for what is right in a world gone wrong. He never placed himself above doing right by others. So many times in my life he offered his help and advice for me and my family. It was always for the good of others he did this with no expectation of reward or acknowledgment in return. For Madsion and Colton he was their Pop. He taught them what life was and how to enjoy it. He lived life as we all should by making the most of what he had and not pondering what he did not. To all he met, he was their friend and was the richest man I've know because he treasured what is important. Never meeting a stranger was sometimes said as a joke, but looking back it was who he was in his heart and soul. To the very end of his life, he was always helping others above himself. Now with the joyfull memories of Ron, we continue down our own life's path until we meet our last day here. I think our goal should be to be better people. I have known many honorable men in my short life and I can say that Ron is at the top of my list. He was an honest man that would help you in your time of need without regard to himself. Worldly posessions meant nothing to him when it came to others. He had what it takes to be called a man on all accounts and I look forward to the day I can see him again. God bless you and all the good and honor you stood for. Ron, we love you and we miss you. With love, your son, daughter and grandchildren.

Rayburn 100 has lost a very special member of our family. Our hearts are heavy and our minds are tired. In time may we find comfort all around us from the memories and the many hours we were honored to share with Ron, most of them laughing at those stories. Oh and how how Ron could tell a story...

I am sorry that two lives, two first cousins, were so far apart That we never came together in a way that would have allowed us to know each other. I pray that through the loss of your brother your family is blessed with a deeper love one for another. Your Cousin Charles Mansel Reeves
