I am just totally shocked. May God be with all of the family through all of this saddness and greaf.
I will always remember going to school with Ricky. I will always remember having to stand up against Ricky when he was pitching ball. He was fast! I actually graduated with Gary. Ricky was one to always look up to. We duck hunted together all most every week of the duck season. I will always remember this. It was lots of fun to see who could say the biggest lie about who shoot the furtherst shot and how many I killed with the one shot. Ricky alwayts had something to say. Just a whole lot of fun!
Ricky, his dad and Gary all came out to Wyoming in 91 and then 92. We had a great time and I will never foget it. I would see Ricky when I came home. We would shoot pool and Ricky would always win and say the last time he had played pool was who knows when! Yea he never played any pool and or he would like to think he could convince you of it.
I know it is a sad time for everyone. I will never forget Ricky! My prayers are with all of the family.
Gary you have all of those memeries!

To the whole Jones family: What a special guy. Rickey and I were facebook friends who swapped insults and wisecracks weekly......we shared in common old Hamshire stories and memories and a love for all things Arkansas, including the Razorbacks.....I will miss him and all his stories (including his sad sack stories about golf and how Gabby was always beatin' him at it)....i never heard him say anything bad about anybody except when he poked fun at himself......:) i am so sad that he was taken away too soon.....he will be missed.....a wise man that is funny too (like him) cannot ever be found again. All your fb friends will be missing you......hope you have a wisecrack for me if i ever get up to heaven.

What a great tribute to your brother in that video Gary. We never had the opportunity to meet your brother, but I can tell just by the stories and comments that we would have hit it off just fine! All of our thoughts and prayers to you and all the family from your family up here in Colorado. Love and miss you guys!

I wanted to write something about the smartest and wittiest and bravest person I have ever known in my life- my brother Rick. I have received more calls in the last two days about how he touched their all their lives in some way or another. I cannot begin to tell everyone how much fun it was to grow up with him for my 59 years. We still had our names we would call each other as kids. If I had any problem whatsoever, I could call Rick and he would answer it for me, although he might make up some kinda crazy answer and have believin' somethin goofy but he knew alot about most any thing. After all he used to get in trouble ( on purpose) in high school and get sent to the library where he read the complete Encyclopedia Brittanica from A to Z. and REMEMBERED MOST ALL OF THE STUFF!!!! I know this sounds crazy but it's true! He also got all the athletic ability in our family>great in track, football ,baseball, while I couldn't run outta sight in a week! We fished and hunted together all our lives and the last few months we played a lotta golf together and that's the only thing I could tear him up at and older brothers don't like their little brothers beatin' them at anything (LOL) When he went to Viet Nam in 1970 I spent the worst year of my life without him there to make me laugh( he could also draw cartoons and write stories as good as any person alive). There is gonna be a big empty void in my life now without my brother. But I know he is on Heaven's face book keepin' everybody laughin'! Thanks God for givin' him to me for my 59 years.
