I am so proud of my sister, Peggy Sue. She could have so easily put him in a nursing HOme 10-11 years ago when his Alzheimers first became a problem, but she didn;t, she kept him at home and gave him TLC. She had no free time, but continued to treat Chalmus like the husband she loved. She put him in a care-givers place one time to come visit and miss her too.me, but heard Chalmus was not gettjng good care and went home and got him the next morning. Yes, I'm proud of my sister and miss her too. Bobby

Peggy was my favorite sister. She also was my only sister. We talked over the phone for long periods every few days. Our subjects varied, but we often talked about Colorado: Aurora, Wondervu, PInecliff, Nederland, Estes Park, Trailridge Road, the Moffatt Tunnel and Rollins Pass. Often we talked about hurricanes and rogue waves. The 1900 Galveston storm was cussed and discussed. WE also talked about when we summered on Pershing Ave in Beaumont and when I lived in her Attic at 1280 Harriot in Beaumont.
She was a devout Christian, a generous and caring person, a loving wife, a dedicated mother, a comforyting grandmother, a grateful Texan and a patriotic American.
I loved her and will miss her alot.
God bless her. We'll meet again in Heaven.

We will always remember Peggy's kindness and thoughtfulness when we had an opportunity to visit with her at Chris & Joyce's home. She was a very caring person, always trying to take care of her family. We know that she is in a better place with no more suffering. Love, Stan & Bea

Dear Family I first met Peggy when Susan and I were friends in high school and then again as Mr. Brammers home health nurse many years later. She loved that man and stayed strong when a weaker woman would fall. I know she loved her family and will truly be missed by everyone she touched. My prayers are with you at this sad time.

Aunt Peggy was an inspiration to me. Beautiful, smart, funny, loving -- and just a little quirky, but wonderfully so. She and I were avid readers and she was one of the first adults to talk about books with me and continued to stir my interest in reading. I always loved being with her. She was -- and is -- very loved. Bob III
