I worked with Gerald at Neches Butane for lots of years. He was a fine man and a good friend. My deepest condolences to the family.

Dear Jerry and Mrs. Minyard,

May the God of Grace lift your grief. It is the little things that help us cope with loss. Reading about your Dad brought back a flood of wonderful memories as we were growing up. I remember both your parents working at the bicycle store in Port Neches where I bought my doll that I still have. May your Mom fill her days with the love of her sons and grandchildren. You and your parents have always held a special place in my heart. A big hug for such a wonderful guy at this most difficult time. A special friend who cares.
