To my family down in the Beaumont area...
I wish I could be with all of you this weekend as you gather to remember Uncle Glenn. He was such a kindhearted man, and without him, there will me a chunk missing from our family. He was an unforgettable man... and that is an understatement. There are so many memories that have come flooding back to me over these past several days that will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. As a kid, I remember him putting together the Christmas scene that he displayed at Ma Maw's and Pa Paw's. If you think it is something now, just think of how magical it was to us little ones. That's exactly what it was, magic... just like everything beyond our grasp when we're so innocent. Uncle Glenn helped bring imagination into my life. Through his stories and his craft. His stories especially were one of a kind, his "wisdom" was like no other. What will it be like without him? I regret not visiting more. When I was younger, we visited quite often, and more than not, we would stay at his house. After growing up, it seems you become distant from all you knew back then. Still, with all the years between visits, he was still very kind and generous to me. Not just because we're family.. I believe it was just because he cared about people. We will greatly miss that man we always knew and loved... however, you can't help but be excited for him now.... for his pain is gone!

My crew and I love you all very much.

Rest in peace Uncle Glenn....

My Brother- Glenn Bagley

May Glenn rest in peace. I honor him for his strength in dealing with his illness for so many years. I also honor him for all the things he has done for me and the rest of the family. His purpose has always been to help his family and friends and care for them in any way he could. He would set aside his own needs to help others.

I am grateful that he was always apart of my life, that I could always count on him. He was always there to lend a hand and be a brother to me. I wish God's blessing upon him and cherish his memory.

I have fond memories of Uncle Glenn when I was younger and knew him better - especially hanging out at the lake and crabbing at the beach. He was a generous man who would give the shirt off his back, even if it was his last one, with no expectation of return or praise. He was the "fun" uncle - the one with a special spirit of childlike mischief. He was someone who you could count on if you needed a ride because you were stranded. So, I honor my Uncle Glenn in his passing and pray that the heavens are as unconditionally generous upon him as he was to his loved ones.

One of the things that defined Glenn was his willingness to help others. Whether you were his parent, brother, sister, daughter, cousin, friend or in my case a brother-in-law, Glenn was there to help. There have been times when I was puzzled about how to handle a particular repair issue and Glenn was always willing to help in any way he could, to the point of doing the job for me. And this was true for all the family, friends, and anyone else who needed a helping hand. This willingness to help others showed us all how special we were to him and it showed how special he was to us.
