I was able to make it to the visitation at the Funeral Home. But, I still feel so sad that I'm not able to attend the Memorial Service, today.

It was on the way home from the visitation, that I truly realized how much I'm going to miss seeing PDG Dewey at all the up-coming Lions Camp Meetings and District Conferences. I will never ever forget the smile of this friend; a fellow PDG and someone who was so dedicated to helping others, especially through his support of the Texas Lions Camp.

Of course, when we think of Dewey's dedication, we also know how dedicated "Suzanne Sterling" has been, through all their years of service. You and your family are in my prayers and I'm looking forward to seeing you again, soon.

To the Family of Dewey Sterling:
Dewey was one of the Lions favorite Governors. He always had a smile on his face and would always speak to anyone who was passing by.

I will always remember him at a Dist. Convention in Pt Arthur. He came up to me and gave me and another fellow Lion a great big hug. Dewey was just that way....just like a true Lion....

May God continue to bless his wonderful family. May God give you the peace and love you will continue to carry on in your hearts...
