Steven "Steve" Alan Shoemaker

My deepest sympathy to Steve's wife, children and extended family. I only had the privilege of working with Steve for a short time, but felt as though I knew him for years. What a loss - he will be missed.

Dear Mary and family,

I am so sad to hear that Steve has passed away. I remember our childhood so fondly... the Shoemakers and the Dursos running hand in hand through the neighborhood, climbing trees, playing army, eating snow cones that my Dad made, it was a wonderful time. Steve was my running buddy, and while I'm sorry to hear he has passed on, his memory will live with me forever.

We are all deeply saddened at the loss of a Brother EMT. Steve "dove" into EMS with a passion rarely seen. He set very high standards for himself and had the unique gift of bringing others standards up strictly by Leadership. His brand of commitment, loyalty and friendship will be missed.
