Wally and Joy, So very sorry to hear of Wallys moms death. My parents knew her when they were all very young. I never heard any thing except good about her. Treasure your memories and share them with your family. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

You have had your mother for a very long time but it is never easy to give up someone so dear. I remember her well. She was a lovely lady. You both are in my prayers.

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Ouida. She always had a smile! I remember her visits to my grandparents to give them b-12 shots. I also loved her pound cake. She had a great life surrounded by her large loving family. I'm sure my parents,grandparents and Mary Lou were there to welcome her! Jenny Dunn Blanc

God Bless Nannie (as the many nieces and nephews knew Aunt Ouida) for all the love and care she showed to the many McCormick kids who visited our granmother Louise and her loving sister next door. As both a child and adult, I was welcomed many times in her home, and after my grandmother passed, became a part of her brood as well. I bet Grandma and Nannie are sharing a cup of coffee right now, enjoying a warm piece of cake fresh from the oven.

I never had the honor of meeting Ms. Abercrombie, however, I have come to know the kind, devout, and loving woman she was through stories shared by her closest family members. My thoughts and prayers are with them now and always.
