I have many fond memories from years past of Katie, and am proud to have her Italian bread recipe that she wrote out for me back in the 1970's. She was truly a wonderful lady, and I extend my deepest sympathy to Sam, Margaret, and their families.

While we are all saddened and mourn Mrs. Fazio's passing, we can celebrate her wonderful life and family and know that she is rejoicing and glorified in Heaven with God, our Father and Jesus, our Brother!! This is our great Christian comfort and assurance!! I'm also sure she's tellin' 'em "...not too much tomato paste in the spaghetti sauce..."!!! Mamma Mia!! Praise and Glory be to God Almighty!!!

I will always remember Aunt Katy for her smile and hugs she gave me everytime I say her. I always called her aunt and didn't know she wasn't really my aunt until I was older. Thats the Italian way. She always made me feel she loved me and I know she loved my parents and Aunt Kat. You are so lucky to have had her all these years. I hope your memories will help you through this time. I am so sorry about you losing your Mom.
It dosn't matter if we have our Moms for a short while or longer it is just hard. But I pray your heart's will trust in the Lord to get you through this difficult time.
I too have such fond memories of St. Joseph Alters at your mom's house.
God has her now and I am sure He has much for her to do as well as she and St. Joseph are more than friends now! Always know God never leaves you so turn to him often.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of your grandmother,after reading about her today I can understand how much y'all will miss her!! What a remarkable life she had,with her children, her grands and her greats.
