Anita: I was catching up on reading newspapers from the week yesterday and saw where Paul had died. I was so saddened to learn of his death. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I am so sorry that I missed coming by and giving you a hug. Please know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. May God be with you through this difficult time and always...He was a very sweet man...I don't remember him without that wonderful smile on his face. May wonderful memories soon replace the sadness you are now experiencing. Paula O'Neal

Anita, Josh, Kevin, Michelle and Will, Nicole and Scot, Kathleen and John, Rudy, and all of your children now know of the love that so many have for Paul.

God, wonderful smile, children, family, friends, environment, Cajun food, music, Buddy, baseball, and love for all. Reading the entries from those who know Paul is all you need know. What a testimony to God’s love is Paul. From the moment of our meeting fourteen years ago until our last visit, never has there been a cross word between us. The reason is Paul, not me. Peace and Love. That is Paul.

Josh, I will be at your games as I promised your dad. I will be there because I know your dad will be there.

Thanks be to God, we will all meet again.

Pax Christi and Love and Light as Paul always ended a note.

I was saddened to learn of Pauls death. What a great guy and family man. I will always remember him watching the game from the fence pacing up and down routing for Josh and his teammates. Pauls smile was very contagious. You could always see in his face the love he had for you Anita and Josh. A very proud man loving his family. He will be missed by all that knew him. We are praying for him as well as you and Josh. May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Looking back on his life, Paul was a blessing to so many people in so many ways ... those that were close to him as well as those whose lives he touched through his work and his involvement with nature and environmental issues. His music was a blessing as was his smile and his intellect. I will miss our occasional phone chats about spirituality, the state of the earth, and speakers and authors we both admired. I felt very honored to be allowed the opportunity to spend time with him just prior to his transition. I know he is with God ... and both are smiling. May all his loving family find comfort in the wonderful memories he gifted us with and be lifted by his belief in the eternity of the soul.
