Law enforcement has lost a Judge that will not easily be replaced. Many law enforcement officers have lost a good friend. May God go with the Plunk family.

Britt will be missed by many not only in the postion as District Judge of Hardin county, but also as the person he had become through the years. Years ago, he gave me my summer jobs, through high school and through college years. He gave me guidance and surport during those years and became a friend for the rest of these years. His passing will cause a hole in our community. Our prayers are with each member of the Plunk family. Jerry & Lynette Spears

Jan and Catherine....I was deeply saddened when I heard about Britt's passing yesterday. He was and will always be close to our hearts. He really stepped in and helped my family several years ago when we were facing some really hard times. I'm thinking about you both and Britt at this very moment and I know in my heart that with all of his hard work and dedication to the citizens of Hardin County that God has appointed him to an even much higher position in heaven. I'll be on the lookout for when his services will be because I want to be there for ya'll and offer a lot of comfort. If ya'll need anything...please don't hesitate for a minute to contact me!! You can also look me up on Facebook and I will send my address and phone numbers so that you can contact me anytime. It's the least I can do after everything Britt has done for our family. Catherine....I'm just a phone call away, sweetie and I really want to be there for you and your mom. Your dad has really inspired my passion for the law even more that later on I'm planning on taking classes in law at Lamar. I love you both....Elizabeth
