I was still in grade school when I met Jimmy and remember him as a good friend throughout my childhood and youth. We last visited at St. Anthony Lunch and I have thought of him often. I send my condolences to Pat and to Jimmy's family and friends. Jimmy was a good man and a good person to have known.

Jimmy was always a man to see the positive of everyone . All who spent any time with him knew him as a friend. All of us at the refinery will miss him.He was a mentor to a lot of us and there is a void with his passing.
My faimily will have him and his family in our prayers

I first met Jimmy because we were neighbors, and we started school together. We were in the same class for many years, and developed a lasting friendship. The years I lived in Beaumont, Jimmy & I always lived within a few blocks of each other -- and always maintained our relationship. He was an honorable and decent man that you always sought in a friend. He was easy to bond with. As my contemporaries pass on, of course I am sad, because part of me goes with them. "The bell tolls for thee . . . "
Jimmy was a good husband, a good father, and a good citizen. The world is a better place for him having been here. I am fortunate to have had this gentle and kind man as my friend for so many years.
Patsy, you, Jimmy, and your family will be in my prayers, and in my memory forever.
We are all truly blessed to have had Jimmy as a part of our life.
