Dear Linda, Melvin & Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. Clay and I had a wonderful conversation about Bill the other night about all the fun times we had as kids at the ball park and swimming at your house. Your family always made everyone feel like they were at home. Now Bill has gone to his ultimate home and may he rest now. Bless you all and all our love, Clay Carl, Laurie Meadows Swindells and our families

Bill is still alive. He didn't die, he just moved from his earthly body to his Heavenly Body. Jesus made the way.

Dear Sweet Melinda,
Bill was a special soul, and I wish I could give you a long hug and talk about all the memories of the summers we all spent together at the lake waterskiing, spending the night at your house on the weekends, and your mom taking us all on road trips and having so much fun! When I remember Bill I think of North End Baseball when he played with Chip and all the gang, while we cheered them on. Love you like a sister, God Bless

Bill's passing seems so unreal. Remembering when the boys were young, I can still see Bill playing ball with all the gang. I remember the time when we had the Roy Guess Carnival, Bill had won a prize. He ran up to Linda and was so proud as he handed it to her. When I looked at Linda, she had a tear in her eye, Bill had engraved Becky's name on a necklace for her. Then there was last year at Becky's birthday, Linda & Melvin have a pool and a boy who couldn't swim was going under for the third time, Bill didn't hesitate and dove in to pull him to safety. Those and many more are the memories to treasure. God Bless you Linda, Melvin, Lola and family.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I remember his smiling face and great sense of humor back at Austin Middle School. Our prayers are with his family and friends.

There is sacredness in tears; they are not the mark of weakness but power, they are messengers of overwhelming grief and of unspeakable love. ~Washington Ervin~
